Life is NOT meant to be a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely,
attractively coiffed,
perfectly manicured,
body weak and stymied,
wings down and tail dragging under,
but rather to skid in sideways,
hair flying in your wave,
wings fully un-furled,
chest up, eyes sparkling,
chocolate in one hand,
wine in the other,
body thoroughly enjoyed,
totally worn out
and screaming
